How the Trust Score works.
Every company on the registry holds a Trust Score from 0 to 100, built from the nine published factors below.
No factor of any score or ranking is ever influenced by payment or sponsorship. Rankings are never sold, and claiming a profile is free.
The score bands.
Nine factors, one hundred points.
The customer reviews factor averages all six rating dimensions: shipping, customer service, product quality, lab transparency, value, and refund. Every review also answers one question, would you order again.
Lab report tiers.
- Lab reports: Tier A 20 points Publishes third-party test results with batch-level COAs
- Lab reports: Tier B 10 points COAs available on request, partial batch coverage
- Lab reports: Tier C 0 points No published third-party testing found
Tiers summarize publicly available third-party evidence and are not a certification. Tier assignments require linked evidence with a change log, and claimed companies can upload COAs for tier review.
How reviews weigh.
Verified purchase reviews weigh 1.0. Unverified reviews weigh 0.5. Reviews pending moderation, and reviews retracted by their authors, are excluded from all scores.
Zero approved reviews shows Trust Score pending, never a default low score. One or two approved reviews shows the score marked provisional. Three or more approved reviews shows the full score.
Every review passes moderation before it publishes or counts toward any score. Proof of purchase is seen only by a moderator and never published.
The moderation charter.
Nine public promises govern how every review is handled. They are the same standard applied to every company, and none of it is for sale.
- Every review passes human moderation before publishing or counting toward any score.
- We never edit review content. Not one word, for any reason. A review is approved, rejected with a stated reason, or removed for a guideline violation.
- Negativity is never a removal reason. All tones and quality levels are treated equally, and we never suppress, mute, or bury negative reviews.
- Vagueness alone is not inauthenticity. Short or generic reviews are not rejected for being short or generic. Rejection requires a guideline violation.
- Rejections come with the reason, delivered to the reviewer, with an appeal path.
- Reported reviews stay published during investigation unless the violation is severe on its face. We are not mediators and do not arbitrate disputes between companies and reviewers.
- Reviewer identity and proof documents are never shared with anyone, including the reviewed company.
- Reviews must describe the reviewer's own experience in their own words. Fabricated or wholly AI-generated reviews are removed. Using tools for grammar or translation is fine.
- Reviews may not contain personal information about any individual, or unproven accusations of criminal conduct. Factual claims about documented public records belong in profile facts, not reviews.
Rankings are never sold.
Verified reviews weigh 1.0, unverified 0.5, pending excluded. Lab report tiers come from published evidence, never opinion. No factor of the Trust Score can be purchased, and the full methodology is published.
